Accounts Executive

ROLE SUMMARY

You will be based out of our Mohali office and will assist Indian finance operations. He / She will be responsible for assisting Finance Team with the efficient and timely execution of tasks and reports including taking care of accounts receivable, accounts payable like credit card payments, vendor payments, Reconciliation, settlement of balances, creating standardized and ad-hoc reports including compliances for the Indian operations. This inter-alia will not limit the scope of the work only to financial processes but may extend this role to standardize and create dashboards for other departments also.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):

• End-to-end AR process handling order to cash
• Understanding of procurement to payment cycle
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain files and records to document transactions
• Annual closing and finalization of Accounts
• Undertaking monthly closing of accounts
• Undertaking Variance analysis and MIS reporting.
• Coordinating with the auditors per need
• Ensuring timely reconciliation of GLs
• Ensuring implementation of Business policies
• Identifying process gaps and developing internal controls to fill those gaps
• Liaisoning with managerial staff and other colleagues
• Monthly GST/TDS Returns & Expense Claims
• Annual audits/GST audit

SKILLS REQUIRED

• A bachelors degree in accounting or finance; or M. Com/MBA will be preferred
• 2+ years’ experience as an Executive Accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to work with team members.
• Experienced with Microsoft suite of products, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ERPs and systema and process-oriented skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team-orientated environment is fast-paced learning adaptability.
• Ability to think creatively, self-driven, and self-motivated
• Ability to work in a change-focused environment whilst remaining dedicated to service delivery.
