Production Manager

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to meet production targets and deadlines while ensuring optimal resource utilization.• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production staff, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to achieve high levels of performance.• Quality Control: Oversee the production process to ensure that products are manufactured according to quality standards and specifications.• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs.• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted production.• Safety Compliance: Ensure all production activities comply with health and safety regulations, and foster a culture of safety in the workplace.• Reporting: Prepare and present production reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and opportunities.• Cost Management: Manage production budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures where possible.• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.

Key Skills:• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Copper smelter (including raw material handling plant, smelting, converting, refining and casting operation.
• Quality and Control Department and continuous casting process of Copper Rod.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in production planning and scheduling tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
