The Opportunity:
- As the Senior Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving significant business growth in the Goa region.
- Your role will involve developing and implementing a strategic roadmap, leveraging market insights and leading a high-performing Sales team to achieve ambitious targets.
- With your expertise in analytics, sales and client relationship management, you'll play a key role in advancing LetsGoa's business goals while motivating and inspiring your team to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth, achieve commercial targets and maintain a competitive advantage in the Goa market.
- Lead, mentor and empower a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hotels, tech partners and local influencers such as tourism bureaus and hotel associations.
- Collaborate with market leadership to define objectives, establish KPIs and implement strategies to boost partner productivity and uncover growth opportunities.
- Represent LetsGoa at industry events, enhancing the company's profile and educating partners on product offerings.
- Provide consulting services to partners, ensuring robust relationships and delivering insights to optimize processes and efficiency.
- Support cross-functional initiatives, anticipate market impacts, and foster collaboration across internal teams.
- Drive innovation, advocate for resources, and promote a positive and cohesive team environment.
- Monitor market trends and adapt strategies to sustain growth and operational excellence.
What You'll Bring to the Role?
- Over 10 years of professional experience, demonstrating a proven track record in sales, business development, or general management.
- At least 2 years of experience in a senior management role, with a deep understanding of the start-up ecosystem.
- A strong "go-getter" mentality, with a passion for taking initiative and driving growth in dynamic sales environment.
- Develop and implement a streamlined, replicable operational model for LetsGoa to scale efficiently across regions, utilizing technology to automate processes, enhance customer experiences, and improve operational efficiency.
- Create standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent service quality across all regions and partnerships as the business expands.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide results-oriented teams.
- A target-driven mindset with strong sales and negotiation expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to foster team collaboration and build lasting client partnerships.
- Advanced analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills to convey strategies and solutions effectively.
- A proactive, adaptable, and innovative attitude, thriving in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Strong work ethic with a results-oriented approach.
- Experience in e-commerce, online platforms, or tech-driven businesses is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An MBA or master's degree is highly desirable.
- Proven sales experience in the online travel platform or OTA industry is a must.
