Commissioning Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain control logic for MCC and PLC systems.
• Prepare and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to finalize logic design and ensure systems are ready for transportation to site.
• Coordinate daily meetings with clients to track project progress and address any issues.
• Prepare and plan site activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
• Ensure daily reporting of work progress, site activities, and issues encountered.
• Oversee and participate in the commissioning process of systems and technologies.
• Ensure smooth start-up and operation of systems at client sites.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during commissioning and operation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of issues.
• Manage relationships with foreign clients and contractors.
• Prepare commissioning and operation documentation, including technical reports, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
• Maintain accurate records of all commissioning activities and project milestones.
• Provide training to clients on the operation and maintenance of installed systems.
• Be proactive in learning and sharing knowledge with the team and clients.

Required Qualifications:

• B-Tech/BE in Chemical, Biological, or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience with Ceramic Filtration, UF, MBR, and Biological Treatment systems.
• Proficiency in both English and Hindi.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong background in site management, including daily reporting, work preparation, and client meetings.
• Willingness to travel and relocate within India and abroad as needed.
• Prior experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery industries. Gulf experience is preferable.
• Experienced in dealing with foreign clients and managing communication across different cultures.
• 5-8 years of experience in Operation & Maintenance (O&M) and commissioning in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery sectors.

Preferred candidate profile

• Gulf experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery industries.
• Knowledge or experience with lab analysis.
• Willingness to commit to a 3-year bond.
