The Operation team
This team is accelerating its impact across Global Customer Success and Cognite. The team is responsible for creating and maintaining enablers and processes for building our global aligned delivery and aligning with Finance, Sales and other departments to optimize.

We are looking for a Global Delivery Operations Lead to strengthen collaboration, processes, and reporting across the Global Customer Success organization. The manager of operations will be a key player in creating and operationalizing strategy, as well as aiding continuous improvement. Thus, drive implementing aligned reporting practices, financial modeling and forecasting, analyzing key metrics and supporting the Global Customer Success leadership.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Global Delivery Operations Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the company by managing key operational metrics, developing financial modeling and maintaining operations dashboard to update forecasts, monitor profitability, and optimize costs. The position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and financial performance of our global operations, but it does not include direct people management responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in operations particularly in a global environment, and is a self-starter and able to work independently. You are comfortable with financial modeling and deriving actionable insights through data analytics and operational tooling.
 
A typical day as a Cogniter will contain the following tasks & responsibilities
    • Operations Monitoring & Analysis:
    • Continuously assess operational processes and identify areas for cost optimization and process improvements.
    • Conduct deep analysis of operational data to provide insights on profitability, cost efficiency, and other performance metrics. Track investment and costs.
    • Capacity Forecasting to plan resources needed and measure utilization.
    • Understand data, identify key drivers and clearly communicate main findings, insights and trade-offs
    • Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive operations dashboards to track key performance metrics (KPIs) across global functions and projects.
    • Forecasting & Reporting:
    • Develop revenues and cost forecasting. Implement and improve processes to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
    • Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations teams to develop accurate forecasts and present detailed analyses on cost, margin, and revenue performance.
    • Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
    • Operational Tooling & Automation:
    • Identify, implement, and maintain operations tools and systems that streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
    • Automate data reporting, analytics, and other operational tasks, reducing manual work and improving accuracy.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with global teams, including Finance, Sales, Product to ensure alignment of operational processes with business goals.
    • Act as a key point of contact for global operations across multiple time zones, ensuring smooth communication and operational efficiency.
We believe most of these should match your experience
    • Education : Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.

    • Experience:
    • 5-8 years of experience in operations or management consulting within a global environment.
    • Proven experience in data analysis, operational metrics tracking, and forecasting.
    • Strong understanding of profitability, margin forecasting, and cost optimization strategies.
    • Proficient in using operations dashboards and tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
    • Experience in automating operational processes and working with cross-functional teams to implement systems improvements.
    • Experience with project management tools is a plus (e.g., Precursive, Workday, Jira).
    • Organizational Skills : Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Detail-Oriented : Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and operational efficiency.
    • Strong business acumen : attention to detail, and ability to provide strategic insights based on operational data.
    • Adaptability : Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.
