Job Description
- Automated Test Script Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks using C# and Selenium to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient testing processes.
- Test Data Management: Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to identify test data requirements, create and manage test data sets, and ensure data integrity for accurate test results.
- Test Execution and Analysis: Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and report defects. Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot issues and verify bug fixes.
- Continuous Integration: Integrate automated test suites into the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to enable faster and more reliable software releases.
- Test Environment Management: Set up and maintain test environments, ensuring they are consistent and representative of production environments.
- Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to identify and prevent software regressions and ensure product stability over time.
- Test Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Test Automation Best Practices: Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging tools and technologies in test automation to continuously improve the testing process and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in automation testing using C# and Selenium, along with a strong understanding of SQL databases.
- Programming Skills: Proficient in C# programming language, with the ability to develop and maintain automation test scripts.
- Selenium: Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and related tools for web application testing.
- SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts for data verification and validation.
- Test Automation Frameworks: Familiarity with various test automation frameworks, such as NUnit, TestNG, or MSTest.
- CI/CD: Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools, such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or TeamCity.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues in the software.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively report test results.
- Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in an Agile team.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure comprehensive testing and accurate defect reporting.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
