Data Architect - Python/Informatica (10-20 yrs)

Job Description :

CIGNEX is seeking a talented Sr. Data Architect to join its growing organization and be an integral member of the Delivery Management solutioning large contracts across business units.

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting world class solutions to clients' transformation outsourcing requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and driving business-IT solutions that use innovative business processes, architectural and technical frameworks to provide client stakeholders with viable, high value solutions to complex business problems.

- Experience in technical delivery & business development

- 12-15 years' experience in Architect role

- At least 10 years of experience in the area of Enterprise Data Architecture Designing, Data Warehouse Designing, Big Data Management with Data Lake offerings on platforms like PowerCenter ,Informatica, Oracle, IBM, Business Object, Microsoft, Hadoop, MapR, etc.

- 8-10 years of experience in PowerCenter is mandatory

- 2+ years of experience in DevOps - CICD and Pipelines deployment is mandatory

Nice to have : Oracle, IBM, Business Object, Microsoft, Hadoop, MapR,

- Good hands-on experience must include requirement analysis, design, testing and implementation/support on these platforms

- Strong in requirements/data analysis, design review, gap definition & advisory on best practices in Data Warehouse & Data Lake verticals

- Strong on cloud integration with environments of Data Warehouse & Data Lake

- Familiarity with cloud storage devices and techniques is added advantage

- Familiarity with Data Quality Management concepts is nice to have

- Analysed the existing systems and the business user requirements for tactical and strategic needs

- Created the Multi-Dimensional data model & enhanced it to meet the growing requirements

- Created the ETL architecture, source-to-target maps & rules. Provided strategy related to data cleansing, data quality, data consolidation & meta-data management SQL, Reporting

- Interacted with the business users on regular basis to consolidate and analyse the requirements and present them the design results

- Mentored data architectures on dimensional models, SCD (Slow Changing Dimensions), MDM (Master Data Management) & standards

- Willingness to travel if any

- Proven experience planning, designing, and implementing mid/ large scale solutions

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong leadership skills, decision making and problem solving abilities

- Preferably TOGAF certified in addition to cloud certifications

- Managing delivering Proof of Concepts (POC)

- BS and/or MS in computer science or equivalent experience

- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

- Candidate must have a strong history of achievement over career

- Candidate will have excellent public speaking skills complemented by exceptional written and oral skills, along with strong organizational abilities

- Delivery experience in terms of managing team

- Candidate will have broad familiarity with a variety of Data management technologies

- Strong exposure Cloud Platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) with exposure on data management services, data pipeline services

- Experience in developing Data Warehouses, Data Marts, Data Quality Management, Business Intelligence, and/or Master Data Management including data quality management

- Experience in Data Integration Products/ETL Platforms (Informatica, IBM Data Stage, Pentaho etc)

- Must be familiar & experience with Structured data as well as unstructured data technologies such as - Big Data Platforms-Hadoop, HFS, HIVE, Kafka, snowflake etc

- Database management platforms (e.g. ORACLE/SQL Server/NoSQL/MySQL Databases) both on-premise as well as cloud

- Familiarity with languages like e.g. Python,NLP added advantage

- Well aware of effort estimation techniques, Pricing models and schedule preparation

- Experience working on BI & Analytics platforms (Power BI, SAP BO, Tableau, R, SAS etc.) added advantage
