Job Title: BIM Project Coordinator

Department: Building Information Modelling (BIM) / Engineering

Reports To: BIM Manager

Job Summary:

The BIM Project Coordinator is responsible for the management of the BIM Team and all the Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes for all disciplines in middle east construction projects. This role involves working closely with BIM Manager / clients to ensure accurate, clash-free, and constructible BIM models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform QA/ QC and manage the BIM model submissions for all disciplines including:

a. Architecture

b. Interior

c. Landscape: softscape, hardscape & Irrigation

d. Structural: RCC & Steel Framing

e. Mechanical - HVAC, Water Supply, Drainage & Fire Fighting

f. Electrical and ELV systems

g. Roads, wet and dry utilities for the Infrastructural BIM submissions.

• Ensure compliance with project-specific BIM execution plans and company standards.
• Perform clash detection and resolution using software such as Navisworks, Revit and BIM 360.
• Provide guidance and support to the BIM Team on workflows and software tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in architecture or any discipline in Engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience in BIM coordination for middle east projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and BIM 360.
• Strong understanding of middle east drawing submission standards corresponding to LOD 200 to 500.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as DEWA, ASHRAE, NFPA, and Middle East local building codes.
• Strong understanding of power, lighting, containment and the ELV systems.
• Experience in clash detection, coordination, and resolution.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dynamo, scripting or automation in BIM workflows.
• Experience with Revit/ Civil 3D for the topography, Highway and underground utilities in BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of COBie and other BIM interoperability standards.
• Familiarity with complex modelling and detailing.
• Certification in BIM or Revit (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).

Work Environment:

• Office-based role.
• May involve collaboration with international teams during Middle East time zone.
