We are seeking a skilled QA/Test Automation Engineer with expertise in automated testing frameworks and technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests across various platforms, including web, database, and API, to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. This position requires a strong background in automation testing, proficiency in programming languages and frameworks, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium for web applications and APIs, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across different browsers and environments.

Perform database testing using SQL queries to validate data integrity and consistency across SQL Server, OracleDB, and MySQL databases.

Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand software requirements, identify test scenarios, and develop test cases accordingly.

Implement and execute Unit Testing using frameworks such as NUnit or JUnit to validate individual components and functions of the software.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps, ensuring continuous testing and deployment of software updates.

Conduct functional testing, performance testing, and API security testing to validate software functionality, performance, and security compliance.

Utilize software testing processes and techniques, including requirement analysis, test design, and usability testing, to ensure high-quality software deliverables.

Perform migration testing to validate data integrity and functionality during software migrations or upgrades.

Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, to ensure traceability and transparency in testing activities.

Optional:Gain experience with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation tasks, contributing to the efficiency of the testing environment.

Strongly encouraged:Background in data analytics and reporting QA/QC to contribute to the quality and reliability of data-driven insights and reporting solutions.

Primary. Preferred Skill Set. Selenium. SQL Server, OracleDB, MySQL,. LifeRay. JavaScript. ReactJS. HTML. Terraform. Data Analytics & Reporting. Ansible. Secondary. CI/CD Pipeline. Kubernetes. Docker. Web Performance, API Security, Test Automation. Requirement Analysis and Usability Testing. Qualifications. Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience in automated testing frameworks and technologies, with a focus on Selenium for web automation.

Proficiency in programming languages such as LifeRay, HTML and JavaScriptwith experience in developing automated test scripts.

Familiarity with frameworks such as ReactJS and Entity Framework.

Experience with Unit Testing frameworks such as NUnit or JUnit for testing individual components and functions.

Strong understanding of software testing processes, techniques, and methodologies, including requirement analysis, test design, and usability testing.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Business Hour. Normal Business hours. The expectation would be to start late and cover EST time until 12 PM. Exception subject to manager permission.

Job Type. Hybrid Working:Minimum 4 days from office Monday to Thursday. Friday is flexible but in case of business need and high demand, the manager may request to be present in the office.
