Job Description:

Job Description: Oracle Fusion Delivery Manager

Role Overview:

The Oracle Fusion Delivery Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations, upgrades, and integrations. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with client objectives, and managing the delivery of high-quality Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep technical knowledge of Oracle Fusion applications, and proven expertise in managing large-scale ERP projects.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Project Delivery Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the end-to-end delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud projects, ensuring they meet time, scope, and budget requirements.
  • Oversee project milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to maintain alignment with client expectations.
  • Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and methodologies for Oracle Fusion implementations.

2. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings and governance sessions with clients to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
  • Understand client business requirements and align Oracle Fusion solutions to meet their objectives.

3. Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of functional consultants, technical experts, and project managers across multiple Oracle Fusion projects.
  • Foster a collaborative and performance-driven work environment, promoting innovation and accountability.
  • Ensure the team is adequately resourced and skilled to deliver high-quality outcomes.

4. Risk and Issue Management:

  • Proactively identify risks and challenges in project delivery and develop mitigation plans.
  • Monitor and address project issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on delivery timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and industry-specific standards.

5. Financial and Resource Management:

  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
  • Optimize resource allocation and utilization across multiple projects.
  • Track and report on financial metrics such as cost variance and project profitability.

6. Strategic Alignment and Innovation:

  • Collaborate with leadership to define delivery strategies and contribute to the organizations Oracle Fusion Cloud capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Oracle solutions to clients.
  • Stay updated on Oracle Cloud updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends to enhance delivery excellence.

Key Skills and Competencies:


Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (HCM, Financials, SCM, Procurement, etc.).
  • Understanding of integration tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and reporting solutions like OTBI and BI Publisher.
  • Familiarity with Oracle implementation methodologies and cloud migration processes.

Project Management:

  • Expertise in managing ERP implementation projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project planning, resource scheduling, and issue tracking tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams across geographical locations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage client and internal relationships.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Client-Centric Approach:

  • Ability to understand client needs and translate them into actionable delivery strategies.
  • Experience in managing client expectations and ensuring satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT project delivery, with at least 5+ years focused on Oracle Fusion Cloud projects.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale Oracle ERP implementations for global clients.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and deploying Oracle Fusion modules is a plus.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist (Fusion Cloud modules).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications.

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):

  • Project Delivery Success: Percentage of projects delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Client Satisfaction: Measured through client feedback, NPS, or CSAT scores.
  • Operational Excellence: Adherence to SLAs and delivery quality metrics.
  • Financial Performance: Achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
  • Resource Utilization: Effective use of available resources across projects.
