Job Description
- Analyze and optimize Oracle Database performance to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform advanced query tuning and rewrite complex queries for improved execution.
- Conduct instance-level tuning by adjusting configurations and resource allocations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks.
- Maintain and enhance database architecture to support high availability and scalability.
- Create and implement performance-tuning strategies, tools, and processes.
- Monitor and report performance metrics using tools like AWR, ASH, and ADDM.
- Experience of 6 to 7 years in Oracle database performance tuning and optimization.
- In-depth understanding of Oracle Database Architecture (SGA, PGA, background processes).
- Proven experience in Oracle Database Performance Tuning using tools like SQL Trace and TKPROF.
- Proficiency in Query Tuning, including execution plan analysis and index optimization.
- Expertise in Query Re-writing techniques for complex queries and large datasets.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database Instance Tuning (parameters, redo logs, undo management).
- PL/SQL knowledge is a must.
- Experience in the BFSI sector is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
