Cloud DevOps Engineer

# Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as Cloud Devops Engineer. This role gains expertise in designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on networking, landing zones, and AWS Control Tower. Skilled in automating deployments using Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation, while implementing robust cloud security practices for compliance and data protection.

# Experience and Required Skill Sets
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Over 5+ years of experience in software engineering, design, and architecture development.
- Proven experience with AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Elastic Beanstalk.
- Expertise in network architectures such as VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and Route 53.
- Proficient in infrastructure automation using Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security practices (KMS, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config).
- Skilled in Python scripting for automation and tool development.

# Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example in coding, setting benchmarks for code quality and efficiency.
- Tackle cross-Design, develop, and maintain the CI/CD pipeline infrastructure using GitLab, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD to support automated code deployment and testing.
- Integrate AWS services, including EKS for Kubernetes orchestration, to enhance our cloud-based deployment strategies.
- Utilize Terraform and AWS CDK for infrastructure as code practices, ensuring scalable and maintainable infrastructure provisioning.
- Work within private cloud environments as well as public cloud (AWS) to ensure a secure and efficient deployment pipeline.
- Develop scripts and automation tools using Go, Python, and Bash to improve pipeline processes and integration.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and services into the CI/CD pipeline seamlessly, with a focus on Java, .NET, and Angular-based applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance and reliability across all environments.

# Good to Have
- Implement security best practices within the CI/CD process to safeguard our applications and data knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch Logs).
