Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities :

● Identify new business opportunities in existing and untapped markets, including
pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and other healthcare sectors
● Drive the expansion of the Contract Research Organisation (CRO) services portfolio, including clinical trials, preclinical research, regulatory support, and data management
services.
● Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with potential and existing sponsor,
ensuring sponsor satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
● Generating leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, social
media, and online platforms. This involves reaching out to potential clients or partners to introduce the company's services.
● Lead the negotiation and closure of business deals, contracts, and partnerships
● Collaborate with senior leadership, project managers, and operational teams to ensure client expectations are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
● Lead the preparation of customized proposals, cost estimates, and service offerings for clients, ensuring alignment with the CRO's capabilities and market demands.
● Work with internal teams (clinical, regulatory, data management, etc.) to create and present detailed proposals and contracts that address the specific needs of each client.
● Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, ensuring that both the CRO and client's objectives are achieved while maintaining profitability.
● Experience in leading complex business deals and negotiating contracts
● Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends, track performance metrics

Key Skills and Qualification:

● Familiarity with the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries, with an understanding of their specific research and development needs.
