Assistant Manager - Procurement

Job Purpose : category buyer for HR, Admin Finance and handle Contract management, negotiation, supplier quality in Bangalore

Roles and Responsibility:

• Source, evaluate and negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers for a wide range of materials, HR Admin with purchases.
• Maintain relationships with current suppliers and identify potential new suppliers for all materials required by the brand.
• Conduct market research activities (including RFI), issue Requests for Proposals (RFP), analyse received proposals and make recommendations for supplier selection and prepare relevant contracts.
• Manage procurement processes, including purchase orders, supplier selection, and delivery schedules for all materials.
• Ensure that all purchases comply with company policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure that all materials are available on time and in the correct quantities.
• Manage the procurement process for all HR Admin, including identifying suppliers, negotiating prices and terms with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all marketing collaterals and gift with purchases meet the brands quality standards and are delivered on time.
• Maintain records of all procurement activities and provide regular reports on supplier performance, inventory levels, and cost savings.

• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Highly price conscious while maintaining quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, including purchase orders, supplier selection, and delivery schedules.
• Ability to analyses market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to identify potential cost savings and process improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other procurement software.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Education Qualification: MBA

Work Experience - 8 to 10 yrs.
