XR Developer - AR/VR Apps (7-8 yrs)

Job Overview :

- We are seeking a highly skilled XR (Extended Reality) Developer to join our innovative team.

- In this role, you will design and develop immersive XR experiences (AR/VR/MR) that deliver engaging and interactive user experiences.

- You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to build scalable, high-quality applications for various platforms, including Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, and others.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop immersive XR applications across VR, AR, and MR platforms and sensory advanced environments.

- Collaborate with product teams to understand project requirements and translate them into functional and interactive XR experiences.

- Design, implement, and optimize 3D environments and interactions for performance and usability.

- Ensure compatibility across multiple XR devices, including Meta Quest 2/3, Apple Vision Pro, and other emerging technologies.

- Build and integrate 3D models, animations, and other assets with proper design aesthetics into XR applications.

- Implement intuitive user interfaces and interactions for XR applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.

- Integrate real-time data streams and APIs into XR applications to enhance interactivity and functionality across different headsets and platforms.

- Optimize code and application performance for real-time rendering and resource constraints of XR hardware.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and fix bugs across platforms, ensuring stability and performance.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field, or equivalent experience.

- Proven experience in XR development (AR, VR, MR), with a strong portfolio of XR projects.

- Proficiency in Unity 3D, Unreal Engine or any other game engine for XR application development.

- Hands on experience with integrating native plugin with Unity/Unreal.

- Solid understanding of 3D mathematics, physics, and real-time rendering.

- Strong understanding of human-computer interaction (HCI) principles specific to immersive environments.

- Experience with programming languages such as C#, C++, or JavaScript.

- Familiarity with Mobile AR, SDKs and platforms like ARKit, ARCore, Meta SDK, and other XR tools.

- Experience in optimizing applications and adding cross-platform libraries frameworks for performance on XR devices.

- Familiarity with 3D modelling tools (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max) and importing assets into XR applications.

- Exposure to XR technologies like polyspatial, stereoscopic rendering, time warping, foveated rendering and familiarity with concepts of cameras, senses, haptic feedback etc.

- Create solutions that will consider unique live-VR constraints, such as stereoscopy, real-time performance, video stitching immersive user experience.

- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with multi-platform XR development, targeting various headsets such as Meta Quest 2/3, Apple Vision Pro, and more.

- Knowledge of cloud-based and on-prem services for XR applications.

- Familiarity with AI and machine learning as applied to immersive experiences.

- Passion for emerging technologies and XR trends.
