Clean Electric is a Series A funded battery tech company focused on designing and manufacturing advanced li-ion batteries for EVs and energy storage applications which enable 12-min rapid charging, long life and unrivalled safety. We are pushing the boundaries of the EV industry with our Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC) thermal management, integrated cell-to-pack (CTP) architecture, and proprietary dynamic charging algorithms running on a custom-engineered in-house battery management system.

Founded in 2020 by IIT-BHU graduates, we are today rapidly scaling and deploying our tech across 2W and 3W segments with plans to enter 4W and commercial vehicles as well. The team comprises multiple IIT, IIM graduates and industry professionals and we are backed by some of the leading Indian VCs.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stores Incharge to manage and optimize inventory operations, ensuring seamless handling, storage, and distribution of materials and products. This position requires strong organizational skills, proactive management, and the ability to lead a team to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Maintain precise inventory records and implement timely stock replenishment strategies.
• Establish and enforce inventory control processes to minimize discrepancies and reduce excess or obsolete inventory.
• Optimize store layout, storage methods, and material handling processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized storage environment compliant with safety and regulatory standards.
• Adopt a data-driven approach to analyze trends, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for day-to-day operational challenges.

Team Management

• Lead, supervise, and mentor store staff, ensuring efficient execution of tasks in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Organize training sessions to enhance the teams skills and operational knowledge.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and overall store performance.
• Develop and enforce robust documentation protocols for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Utilize ERP systems to streamline inventory and reporting processes.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Ensure full compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct periodic audits and inspections to identify and address potential risks or inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain high standards in storage and handling practices.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Education: BE/Diploma in a relevant field.
• Experience: 5-6 years of hands-on experience in stores management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems for inventory and store operations.
• Basic understanding of electronics, electrical, and mechanical components to manage technical inventory effectively.

Working Hours

• 6-day workweek (Monday to Saturday).

• Near Chakan, Pune, India (On-site).

• Competitive, above-market-standard salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
