Fullstack Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Designing and developing robust web applications based on provided specifications.
• Developing responsive client-side solutions.
• Evaluating and identifying new technologies to improve the overall quality of Claranets web applications.
• Providing post-release support and maintenance for all allocated applications.
• Investigating and progressing internal application support tickets.
• Writing, monitoring, and revising all installation, configuration, and support documentation for allocated applications and ensuring that it is up-to-date.
• Translating user stories and other external business requirements from the Product Owner into designs and well-scoped technical tasks.
• Supporting the agile team in pursuing its goals, ensuring that problems are highlighted and issues are addressed efficiently and professionally.

Critical competencies technical fit

• Experience working on large-scale Internet applications
• Strong Software development and software architecting experience
• Extensive knowledge of at least two of these technologies: TypeScript, React.js,Node.js, Vue.js, Quasar, Angular, Backbone, or Ember
• Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS/Sass
• Experience with Vuetify.js (or similar framework)
• Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine, Jest, Vue Test Utils
• Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack.
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Good understanding of modern web standards and accessibility best practices

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Degree educated or with equivalent industry experience and/or qualifications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiasm and ability to work with minimum supervision in an environment with tight deadlines.
• Understanding of web service technologies (including REST principles)
• Experience of working within the technology/internet/telecoms sector
• Knowledge of microservice architecture such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Working within/alongside a Laminas (PHP) MVC application or Python development stack
