Cloud Engineer - Contract

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer on a contract basis to support the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud platforms and a strong understanding of modern cloud architecture.

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management :

   • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
   • Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud systems and applications.

2. Automation and Deployment :

   • Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
   • Set up CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and updates.

3. Security and Compliance :

   • Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and monitoring.
   • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

4. Troubleshooting and Support :

   • Identify and resolve technical issues in the cloud environment promptly.
   • Provide documentation and support for deployed cloud solutions.

5. Collaboration :

   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, development, and security teams, to align cloud initiatives with business objectives.
   • Participate in project planning and technical discussions.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional Engineer.
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and high availability setups.
