CL Educate - Senior React Native Developer - iOS/Android Apps (5-6 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior React Native Developer to join our dynamic team. This role requires someone who is passionate about mobile application development and has extensive experience in building high-quality, scalable, and robust mobile applications.

As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring smooth integration with back-end services, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.

- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.

- Ensure a smooth user experience by optimizing app performance and resolving any issues related to memory leaks, slow rendering, or long load times.

- Troubleshoot and debug application issues across different platforms.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to implement new features, updates, and enhancements to the application.

- Ensure that new features and updates are fully aligned with the project requirements and specifications.

- Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and third-party services.

- Oversee the deployment process for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.

- Manage the end-to-end process of submitting apps to app stores (Google Play and Apple App Store).

- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the release process and work with other teams to resolve them.

- Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform manual testing to ensure that the mobile app is bug-free and meets the specified requirements.

- Implement automated testing using tools like Jest, Enzyme, or Appium to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing.

- Monitor application performance and address any bugs or issues as they arise in production.

- Mentor junior and mid-level developers by reviewing their code, providing feedback, and guiding them in the right direction.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in React Native, mobile development, and UX/UI best practices, and share your knowledge with the team.

- Contribute to the internal knowledge base and promote coding standards and best practices across the team.

- Regularly evaluate and introduce new libraries, tools, and technologies that improve development efficiency, app performance, and user experience.

- Suggest and implement improvements in development processes, tools, and the general workflow.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Educational Background :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 3 years of experience in React Native development.

- Strong experience with both iOS and Android platforms, including familiarity with their specific design principles, guidelines, and development environments.

- Experience with cross-platform development tools and technologies like React Native, Expo, and related frameworks.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6/ES7), React Native, and its ecosystem, including Redux or similar state management frameworks.

- Experience with native iOS (using Swift/Objective-C) and native Android development (using Java/Kotlin) is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL for mobile app integration.

- Familiarity with mobile UI/UX design best practices and guidelines.

- Proficiency with version control systems (i.e., Git).

- Familiarity with tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, and debugging tools for mobile apps.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, Appium, or similar
