Role & responsibilities

• Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Track and monitor fleet vehicles to ensure they are in optimal condition and compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure all fleet vehicles are properly registered, insured, and maintained according to the company's standards.
• Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of vehicles to minimize downtime.
• Ensure timely servicing of vehicles and manage service records for all fleet vehicles.
• Handle vehicle breakdowns or emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes to delivery instructions.
• Ensure drivers are properly trained on vehicle operation, safety protocols, and logistics software.
• Monitor driver performance to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Work closely with the logistics team to optimize routes for fuel efficiency, cost savings, and timely delivery.
• Provide feedback to drivers regarding route performance and assist in adjusting routes when necessary.
  Ensure all fleet operations comply with safety regulations, road laws, and company policies.
• Conduct safety briefings and training for drivers to ensure safe driving practices.
• Monitor and enforce the proper use of safety equipment within the fleet.
• Track and manage fuel usage for each vehicle and optimize fuel consumption.
• Maintain records of fuel consumption, vehicle expenses, and other fleet-related costs.
