- Develop detailed project execution plans in coordination with project managers and engineering teams.
- Oversee the implementation of civil construction activities according to project schedules and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor progress and address any issues or delays promptly to keep the project on track.
- Select, evaluate, and manage subcontractors and vendors for civil construction works.
- Provide guidance and direction to contractors to ensure work is performed efficiently and meets quality requirements.
- Review and approve contractor work plans, method statements, and construction drawings.
- Implement quality assurance and control procedures to ensure that civil works meet design and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to identify and resolve any construction defects or non-conformities.
- Document and report quality issues, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and regulations on-site.
- Conduct safety briefings, inspections, and audits to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance among project team members and contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of all civil construction activities, including progress reports, daily logs, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and expectations.
- Participate in project meetings, discussions, and reviews to provide updates on civil construction activities and resolve any issues or conflicts.
