Job Description

City Greens is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Agriculture Business Development Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the indoor vertical farming industry and business development. The intern will assist in researching market opportunities, developing business strategies, and supporting the growth of City Greens' innovative agricultural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research:

- Conduct research on market trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities in the indoor vertical farming and hydroponics sectors.

- Identify potential partners, clients, and new markets for business expansion.

2. Data Analysis:

- Analyze data to identify patterns and insights that can inform business strategies.

- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and business models based on research findings.

3. Business Strategy Support:

- Assist in the development of business plans and go-to-market strategies tailored to City Greens offerings.

- Support the business development team in executing strategies to acquire new clients or expand existing relationships.

4. Client Relations:

- Help manage communications with prospective and current clients.

- Participate in meetings and presentations with clients and stakeholders.

5. Project Support:

- Assist in managing agricultural projects, ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within budget.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to support City Greens business objectives.

6. Administrative Support:

- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining records.

- Assist in organizing events, conferences, or webinars related to indoor vertical farming and business development.

Requirements

Education:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelors or Masters program in Agriculture, Business, Agribusiness, or a related field.

Skills:

- Strong research and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Experience:

Prior experience in agriculture, agribusiness, or business development is a plus but not required.

Passion:

A strong interest in indoor vertical farming and sustainable agriculture .
