Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify and report bugs
Participate in the continuous improvement of our automation framework and testing processes
Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans and test cases
REQUIRED SKILLSETS
Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, methodologies, and best practices
Hands-on experience with at least one automation tool/framework such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
PREFERRED SKILLSETS
Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured
Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in computer engineering, MCA or equivalent.
