Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Manager with proven product development experience in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

This role is ideal for someone who has personally developed products using Ruby on Rails and has successfully led large teams or multiple teams in delivering substantial products.

The successful candidate will also play a key role in mentoring and developing RoR developers and teams in an Agile environment, positioning themselves for growth into a Senior Manager role over time.

Key Responsibilities :

- Oversee and manage product development initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products in a dynamic setting.

- Lead and mentor multiple teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to drive successful project outcomes.

- Personally contribute to product development using Ruby on Rails, demonstrating technical expertise.

- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of Ruby on Rails developers, promoting professional growth within the team.

- Guide teams in Agile methodologies, with a preference for Scaled Agile practices, to ensure effective project management and delivery.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute product strategies that align with business objectives.

- Utilize strong analytical skills to assess performance metrics and implement improvements in processes and delivery.

- Facilitate effective communication across departments to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

- Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning.

- Identify and cultivate opportunities for personal and team development, paving the way for future leadership roles.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

- 5+ years of product development experience in a management role, with a focus on large-scale projects.

- Proven experience developing products using Ruby on Rails.

- Strong capability in mentoring and developing RoR developers in an Agile environment, preferably Scaled Agile.

- Experience leading multiple teams or large teams in product delivery.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices is a plus.

- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse groups.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.

- Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking and effective decision-making.

- Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization, with a focus on advancing to a Senior Manager position.
