JOB DESCRIPTION- CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER -R&D

We are looking for a highly driven, self-motivated individual to join our growing team as a Construction
Engineer-R& in Ciel et Terre. working under the Construction Manager to fulfil the execution of the
project.

Your missions:

➢ Be the main actor for construction/ assembly activities for new product development: feasibility
checks based on CAD, prototypes assembly, first projects construction support.
➢ Write, communicate, and maintain up-to-date assembly methods and procedures to ensure clarity
and consistency in construction processes.
➢ Serve as the primary contact point for R&D teams regarding all construction process inquiries and
topics, providing expert advice and guidance as needed
➢ Actively participate in product design discussions to advise on construction compliance, feasibility,
and optimization opportunities.
➢ Manage prototype assembly, including coordinating specific tooling supply if required, to ensure
accurate representation of final product assembly processes.
➢ Support the transition from prototype phase to on-site assembly phase in collaboration with
operational construction teams, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with project timelines.
➢ Propose design evolution for construction/assembly improvements.
Activities:
➢ Perform construction feasibility studies for new products:
➢ Guide and give technical and financial feedback to R&D in product design choices for easy
construction/assembly
➢ Review and comment on the project managers assembly method proposal
➢ Review and approve designs submitted by R&D teams prior to prototype development, ensuring
they meet construction and assembly requirements.
➢ Define prototyping plans in collaboration with Project Manager
➢ Utilize CAD views and technical specifications to finalize the initial draft of assembly methods,
ensuring clarity and feasibility in assembly processes.
Prototype phase:
➢ Define prototype needs for assembly trials with project manager.
➢ Supply and install specific tooling for assembly if needed
➢ Organise and perform prototype assemblies
➢ Manages and regularly updates prototype assembly schedule and budget
➢ Write prototype assembly trials report, share it with construction team and project manager
➢ Update the assembly methods with prototype mounting pictures

1st projects phase:
➢ Guide and give feedback to R&D in product design changes following prototypes phase feedback
➢ Support the operational teams in the first assembly methods.
➢ Update assembly methods if necessary following 1st projects mountings and pictures.
➢ Build-up internal technical knowledge from operational construction teams:
➢ Prepare and animate technical presentation for R&D team trainings on operational construction
team know-how and hurdles.

Qualification:

➢ Bachelors/master’s in engineering graduate with 4-5 years’ experience in renewable energy
(Solar/ Floating solar preferred) project execution, site engineering and construction engineering.
➢ Ability to review engineering drawing, prepare BoQ and quality plans.
➢ Ready to relocate to pan India and Abroad as per project requirements
➢ Large experience on site as ground mount PV plant construction manager
➢ Should be hardworking and committed to timelines.
➢ Excellent Communication skills ➢ High proactivity and autonomy
➢ Fluency in English; knowledge of French will be a plus
