About this role
The Operations Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and ensuring the smooth execution of student placement operations. This individual will be responsible for the timely implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for University Enrolment Advisors (UEAs) and Pre-Counselors. The position is key to maintaining operational efficiency and providing students with consistent, high-quality support as they navigate their study abroad journey. This role is essential for optimizing workflows, planning & executing events, liaising with university partners, and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.

What you will be doing

  • SOP Execution & Monitoring: Ensure timely implementation and adherence to SOPs, updating processes as needed to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Team Coordination & Support: Oversee daily tasks of University Enrolment Advisors (UEAs) and Pre-Counselors, providing them data to priorities the tasks.
  • Process Optimization & Technology Integration: Streamline workflows and ensure implementation new tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations, maintaining records and generating performance reports.
  • Problem Solving & Issue Resolution: Identify challenges and implement solutions, acting as a point of escalation for team issues.

Other Need Base Responsibilities:

  • University Liaison & Relationship Management: Maintain proactive relationships with university partners, organizing meetings and ensuring alignment with placement processes.
  • Event Planning & Execution Support: Support team in planning, logistics and execution of student/university-related engagement activities.

About You

  • Qualifications :
    • Bachelors degree
  • Experience :
    • 4+ years of experience counseling students for overseas university placements.
    • In-depth knowledge of the application cycles for the UK and Australia.
    • Preferably experienced in managing the student funnel and guiding students through the application process.
  • Skills :
    • Process Optimization & Workflow Streamlining - Identify inefficiencies, improve processes, and integrate automation to enhance operations.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making - Use data to track performance, generate insights, and make informed decisions for continuous improvement.
    • Cross-Functional & Team Collaboration - Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to align efforts and drive seamless operations.
    • Time Management & Prioritization - Ability to assess priorities, allocate priorities effectively, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Qualities :
    • Highly Organized: Attention to detail and strong project management skills.
    • Process-Oriented: Ability to develop, execute, and improve operational procedures.
    • Problem-Solver: Quick thinking with a focus on finding practical solutions to challenges.
    • Collaborative: Ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of teams and stakeholders.
    • Technology Savvy: Comfortable with using tools like Airtable, or other CRM and workflow management tools to optimize processes.
