Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to express themselves through various artistic mediums, foster a love for the arts, and help develop their artistic skills. This role involves planning and delivering engaging art lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the school s art programs and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a range of artistic techniques and mediums (eg, drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art).
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Encourage students to develop their creativity and artistic skills.
- Provide individualized support and feedback to help students improve.
- Assess and evaluate student work and progress regularly.
- Lead or support extracurricular art clubs and activities.
- Stay current with developments in art education and incorporate new techniques and ideas into teaching.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community to support student learning and growth.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with various art materials and techniques.
- Knowledge of art history and contemporary art practices.
- Experience integrating technology into art instruction.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of students and staff.
- Should have good subject knowledge
- Should have understanding of different art form covered in CBSE syllabus
Qualifications :
- bachelors degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
