Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong skills in data pipeline development, API implementation, and database management. The ideal candidate will have expertise across multiple data storage technologies and a proven track record of building robust data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering pipelines

- Build and optimize APIs for data processing and integration

- Work with various data stores including Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and SQL databases

- Create and implement efficient ETL processes to transform raw data into actionable insights

- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems

- Develop testing protocols for data pipelines and APIs

- Document technical processes and maintain system architecture diagrams

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience in data engineering or related roles

- Strong proficiency in Python, particularly for API development

- Experience working with multiple database technologies (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, SQL)

- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or equivalent

- Knowledge of data pipeline development and optimization techniques

- Experience with text analysis and processing in data pipelines

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Familiarity with real-time data processing frameworks

- Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements

- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD practices
