Consultant Neurologist - Chinmaya Mission Hospital - Bangalore
Position Overview:

This includes conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson s disease, migraines, and neurodegenerative diseases. The neurologist collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough neurological examinations and take detailed medical histories.
- Diagnosis: Interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., MRI, CT scans, EEGs) to identify neurological conditions.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, which may include medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to other specialists.
- Patient Management: Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Patient Education: Provide information to patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Research and Development: Stay updated on advancements in neurology and participate in clinical research when applicable
- Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, neurosurgeons, psychologists, and rehabilitation specialists.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation of treatment plans and outcomes.
- MBBS, MD / DNB / DM / Fellowship
- Must have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience (post PG) in a consultancy role.
- KMC certificate.
