Job Title: Chief of Staff
Team: Manage cross functional resources if required
Purpose of Job:
- The Chief of Staff role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and the capacity to handle a diverse set of responsibilities.
- It is a position that involves close collaboration with the executive team and requires adaptability to the evolving needs of the organization.
Job & Responsibility:
- Direct Support of the CEO
- Setting a leaders strategic priorities: Helping a leader identify the areas where they must direct their focus and identifying metrics for success. Revisiting regularly and evaluating progress.
- Meeting preparation and follow up: reviewing upcoming meetings for the week to ensure the leader has all of the information needed to be as productive as possible and sending out agendas or documents to meeting attendees as necessary.
- Post meeting, documenting and tracking action plans and ensuring the closure of these across departments/heads.
- Monitoring information flow: Sometimes acting as a gatekeeper, ensuring a CEOs involvement in a project or decision-making process at the right moment. Communication and Liaison
- Act as a primary point of contact between the executive and other team members, departments, and external stakeholders
- Managing the meeting cadence for leadership and management team meetings, ensuring materials are sent in advance, time is well spent, and objectives are achieved.
- Facilitate communication and ensure the executive is well-informed about important issues Project Management & Decision Support
- Researching, benchmarking, analyzing data, and making recommendations.
- Creating & updating dashboards for reviewing key performance indicators.
- Oversee and manage special projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully driving complex projects to completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
