The Wells Product Manager is responsible for overseeing a series of applications within the Wells Digital Platform
This role includes defining and leading a team of product owners for different applications, liaising with MSPs and customers throughout the run and maintain phase of the product lifecycle, engaging with key stakeholders, managing dependencies, and working closely with IT delivery teams
This role necessitates close collaboration with IT resources, the Wells Digital Platform, and teams across Chevron's global units to ensure the integration of essential skills and operational capabilities for delivering advanced digital products
Supporting the main platform, this position will assist in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog to maximize business value, aid in trade-off decisions, and ensure customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications
Bachelor or Masters Degree from a recognized university in petroleum, mechanical, chemical, civil, or electrical engineering with minimum CGPA 7.5 and above
A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in drilling, completion, or workover operations is required
Fundamental understanding of digital requirements is essential
Experience across multiple basins and various asset types is preferred
Candidates should possess an advanced degree in IT or have at least 5 years of experience in technology or digital/IT fields
Ideal candidates for this role must possess digital technical experience, including project management, human-centered design, cybersecurity, and data management, alongside extensive Wells technical experience across multiple asset classes or global basins
Supervisory skills are necessary, with the ability to effectively mentor and coach Wells engineers serving as Product Owners
Leadership behaviors such as aligning and inspiring others, setting clear expectations, and transparent communication are essential
Candidates should build strong relationships, provide developmental guidance, encourage innovation and adaptability, and deliver results by empowering others and leveraging critical data
A strong network capability and experience with digital products further enhance the suitability for this role
Previous experience as a digital product manager in large corporation is preferred
