Academic Principal, Aviation

Chennais Amirta is seeking a dynamic and experienced principal to lead our institution in delivering high-quality education and training in aviation studies. The principal will provide visionary leadership, foster an innovative learning environment, and ensure the academic and operational excellence of the college.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Vision:

Develop and implement the strategic vision and mission of the college.

Promote a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.

Academic Oversight:

Ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs aligned with industry standards.

Monitor and assess academic performance, providing support and feedback to faculty.

Administration and Management:

Oversee daily operations of the college, ensuring smooth functioning and compliance with regulations.

Manage budgets, resources, and facilities to support academic programs and student services.

Staff Development:

Recruit, train, and mentor faculty and staff to promote professional growth and innovation.

Foster collaboration and teamwork among faculty to enhance curriculum and teaching practices

Student Engagement:

Advocate for student interests, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Develop programs to enhance student recruitment, retention, and success.

Community and Industry Relations:

Build and maintain partnerships with aviation industry stakeholders, employers, and community organizations.

Represent the college at local, regional, and national events to promote its mission and programs.

Research and Development:

Promote and facilitate research opportunities for faculty and students.

Stay abreast of trends in aviation education and adapt programs accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Aviation, Travel & Tourism, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
• Extensive experience in academic leadership, preferably in an aviation or technical training institution.
• Strong understanding of aviation industry practices and educational standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proven track record of strategic planning and implementation.
