Assistant Manager QC lab

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all laboratory activities, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
• Perform and supervise GC and HPLC tests on gas calibration samples, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
• Ensure that all equipment in the QC lab is calibrated and maintained according to NABL guidelines and international quality standards.
• Lead the preparation, validation, and execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for QC testing.
• Ensure compliance with NABL accreditation requirements and maintain relevant documentation.
• Monitor the preparation of calibration gases and ensure quality control of calibration standards.
• Support the training and development of lab personnel on best practices for GC, HPLC, and calibration testing techniques.
• Prepare and review test reports, certifications, and quality documents.
• Assist in troubleshooting any laboratory equipment issues or test result discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
• Maintain inventory of lab consumables, chemicals, and equipment.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
• At least 5-9 years of experience in a QC laboratory, preferably in the gas calibration industry or a similar field.
• In-depth knowledge of GC and HPLC techniques, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and running these instruments.
• Familiarity with NABL accreditation standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Strong understanding of gas calibration processes and relevant testing methodologies.
• Experience in preparing calibration standards and working with gas mixtures.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively report results and liaise with internal teams.
• Ability to supervise and mentor laboratory staff.
• Knowledge of lab safety protocols and environmental regulations.
