Sr. Process Engineer - ETP/STP

1. Technical Marketing:

• Manage marketing activities for water treatment plants, including ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), WTP (Water Treatment Plant), RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems, and other related equipment.
• Develop new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and building relationships with them.
• Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and provide solutions tailored to their needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective sales strategies and marketing plans.
• Ensure timely delivery of products/services while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Generate leads for Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP).
• Conduct business development activities and field visits specifically for ETP plants.

2. Process Design and Optimization:

• Lead the design and development of effluent treatment processes and systems.
• Perform process simulations, mass balances, and hydraulic calculations.
• Optimize existing ETPs for improved efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

3. Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Review and approve process engineering deliverables including equipment specifications, and technical reports.
• Conduct technical evaluations of equipment and technologies for ETP upgrades and expansions.

4. Project Management:

• Manage ETP projects from conceptual design through commissioning and start-up.
• Develop project designs, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers.

5. Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure ETP designs comply with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with regulatory authorities and stakeholders for permitting and compliance requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures during project execution.

6. Troubleshooting and Continuous Improvement:

• Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions to resolve process inefficiencies.
• Conduct performance monitoring, data analysis, and recommend improvements for ETP operations.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize wastewater treatment processes.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare technical specifications, operation manuals, and as-built documentation for ETP systems.
• Generate progress reports, project updates, and presentations for management and clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
• 5-10 years proven work experience in process engineering with a focus on Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP).
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and technologies, chemical reactions, and water chemistry.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes.
• Proficiency in process simulation & CAD tools.
• Experience in project management, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines.
