Project Engineer (Defense Nuclear Aerospace)

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, quality control, procurement) to ensure successful project execution.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Act as the main point of contact between internal teams, clients (such as BARC, NPCIL, DMDE, DRDO, ISRO), and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and technical issues.
• Address and resolve project-related issues, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required standards and comply with aerospace and Defense industry regulations.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and quality control procedures for machinery and equipment produced for Defense and aerospace applications.
• Implement risk management strategies to minimize technical, schedule, and budget risks.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain thorough and organized project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, technical specifications, and compliance records and Communications.
• Provide regular reports to senior management, detailing project status, key milestones, potential risks, and resource utilization.
• Ensure all required certifications, documentation, and reports are submitted to regulatory bodies as required.
• Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for sourcing materials, equipment, and components needed for Defense/aerospace machinery.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering, Production Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) would be an advantage.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in the Defense/aerospace industry, with experience in Defense, Nuclear and Aerospace projects or similar high-technology sectors.
• Proven experience in managing the production and delivery of machinery and equipment for Defense, aerospace, or high-tech industries.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong Understanding of machinery equipment manufacturing processes, Including design, development, and testing.
• Knowledge of aerospace/Defense industry standards, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance protocols.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, SAP).
