Key Responsibilities for CAD Operator:

1. CAD Design Creation:

• Create CADs for new samples by deriving motifs and placing them aesthetically based on

the design brief and aesthetics.

• Customize CADs as per client requests and size gradation.

2. Standardization for Production:

• Convert sample CADs into standardized sizes for brand-level production.
• Updating details in our OMS system for further reference.
• Merge motifs and patterns for special or custom requests.

3. Layouts and Efficiency:

• Create CAD layouts for garments in coordination with the Designer, Merchandiser, and

Master, ensuring minimal wastage at production levels.

4. Embroidery Preparation:

• Scan and create designs to scale, converting them into khaka for embroidery tracing.

Include allowances for fabric shrinkage during the embroidery process.

5. Event and Fashion Show Support:

• Use CAD and design elements to assist in creating invites for upcoming shows and

events.

• Design fashion show layouts, including ramp layouts, seating arrangements, and

backdrop placements.

6. Intra-Department Coordination:

• Collaborate with HODs, designers, and the production team to understand design

requirements and deliver precise CAD outputs in a timely manner.

7. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all CAD designs meet required specifications and quality standards.

8. Software Proficiency:

• Stay updated and skilled in the use of CAD software and tools to efficiently deliver

creative and technical designs.
