AI/ML Developer with Backend Integration Expertise

Performance-basedRole & responsibilities

• AI/ML Model Development:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop AI/ML models for applications such as text classification, sentiment analysis, OCR, and real-time video processing.
• Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis to enhance model performance.
• Implement and fine-tune machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and iterate on improvements.
• Backend Development & Integration:
• Build and maintain high-performance, real-time RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Uvicorn to support AI-powered applications.
• Integrate machine learning models (e.g., NLP, computer vision, and sentiment analysis) into production systems, optimizing for performance and scalability.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and indexes using SQLAlchemy ORM.
• Use Redis for caching, message queuing, and managing state in real-time data pipelines.
• Real-Time Systems & Data Processing:
• Develop low-latency systems for applications like real-time avatar generation, speech analysis, and video processing.
• Work with tools like Pandas for data manipulation and analysis, especially in large-scale datasets.
• Implement advanced image and video processing techniques, including facial recognition, object detection, and frame analysis.
• DevOps & Deployment:
• Utilize Docker to create consistent development and production environments.
• Deploy and monitor AI/ML models and backend systems in production environments.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Collaborate with front-end developers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive tests and documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficiency in Python and its libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Strong experience in building real-time, high-performance applications using FastAPI, Uvicorn, PostgreSQL, and SQLAlchemy.
• Expertise in Redis for caching and real-time data flow management.
• Proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and large-scale data manipulation.
• Strong background in image and video processing techniques.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
