As the Business Head, you will play a critical role in the leadership and strategic direction of [department/division/region]. P&L Management: Own the Profit and Loss (P&L) of the business unit, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency. Implement strategies for cost optimization, revenue growth, and financial performance.
Team Management and Development: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clear, and performance is monitored and improved. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across the business unit.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through strategic account management.
Sales and Revenue Growth: Oversee sales and business development activities to achieve revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities and drive the expansion of existing services/products. Develop pricing strategies and competitive positioning to maximize market share.
Operational Efficiency: Ensure the effective and efficient operation of all business processes. Optimize resource allocation to support business goals while managing risk.
Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on business performance, including financials, KPIs, and progress towards goals. Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other business units (marketing, HR, finance, etc.) to ensure alignment and execution of company-wide objectives. Facilitate communication and teamwork between departments to ensure smooth operational workflows.
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degrees is a plus.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in senior business management roles, including leadership of P&L and operations. Proven experience in scaling and growing a business, with a demonstrated record of delivering growth and profitability.
