Python Developer Lead with AI/ML

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer Lead with expertise in AI/ML to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems, implementing AI/ML-powered features, and optimizing data-driven solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI models into our platform, improving user experience and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Python, Django, and REST APIs.
• Design and implement AI/ML-powered features using open-source frameworks like Gemini or similar AI endpoints.
• Develop conversational AI systems to streamline user interactions and automate workflows.
• Optimize AI/ML models for performance, scalability, and reliability in a production environment.
• Conduct data analysis and visualization, build neural networks, and improve pattern recognition models.
• Enhance analytics capabilities by integrating data from Django-based backend and ElasticSearch.
• Support and troubleshoot Redis Implementation, Multitenant Architecture, WebSockets, Celery, Scheduler, and Cron Jobs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing Firebase and Google Cloud-based infrastructure/AWS .
• Write efficient, testable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in Python, Django, and REST APIs.
• Experience working with AI/ML frameworks and open-source AI tools such as Gemini or similar.
• Proficiency in ElasticSearch and data modeling for AI-driven analytics.
• Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Firebase, or AWS.
• Expertise in Redis, WebSockets, Celery, Scheduler, and Cron Jobs.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or similar version control systems.
• Solid experience in MySQL/PostgreSQL, including optimization and handling large datasets.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with REST/FastAPI framework for building modern web APIs.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with APM tools like New Relic or similar.
• Knowledge of PLM systems and workflows.
• Experience with conversational AI platforms, such as Dialogflow or Rasa.
• Expertise in large-scale web application development and integration.
