EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS.
Design, develop, configure, and maintain Service Now instances to meet organizational requirements..
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Service Now platform..
Customize and extend Service Now functionalities through scripting (JavaScript), workflow configuration, and integrations with third-party systems..
Manage user access, roles, and permissions within Service Now, ensuring compliance and security standards are met..
Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into IT service performance, operational trends, and key metrics..
Implement automation workflows and orchestration processes to streamline service delivery, incident resolution, and change management..
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to ensure the reliability and scalability of the Service Now platform..
Stay abreast of industry best practices, new features, and emerging technologies in the Service Management space to continuously improve our Service Now environment..
Provide training, documentation, and support to end-users and fellow team members on Service Now functionalities and best practices..
EDUCATION.
University degree or College diploma program in Computer Science, Business and Technology, Information Systems or related areas..

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS.
Proficiency in Service Now administration, including but not limited to: instance configuration, user management, workflow administration, and data management..
Strong development skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other scripting languages relevant to Service Now customization..
Experience with Service Now reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Performance Analytics, Reporting API) to create and customize reports, dashboards, and visualizations..
ITIL v4 Certification or Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and frameworks to design and implement solutions aligned with industry best practices..
Familiarity with automation tools and techniques (e.g., Service Now Flow Designer, Orchestration) to automate routine tasks and workflows..
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutions..
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders..
Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment..
5+ years of progressive experience in information technology.
Experience in one of the following subject areas is a plus:.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow with recent implementation experience.
Service Now certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer) are a plus..
Experience with Lean, DevOps, Kanban, and other improvement frameworks or techniques.
