As a Cyber Security Specialist you would be involved in one or more following activities.

• Monitors, identify, investigate and analyze all response activities related to cyber security

incidents within the organization

• Identify security flaws and vulnerabilities
• Respond to cyber security incidents, conduct threat analysis as directed, and address detected

incidents

• Evaluate event flows to identify common risks and vulnerabilities to develop and implement

solutions

• Assist with security audits, risk analysis, network forensics and penetration testing
• Provide assistance in monitoring the security of all designated networks and systems
• Prepare detailed incident reports and technical briefs
• Adherence to security systems, security standards and frameworks
• Monitor events for suspicious events, investigation and escalate where applicable

As part of the team, you are required to have:

• Demonstrate an understanding of complex inter-relationships in an overall system or process
• Ability to uncover and document tools, techniques, procedures used by cyber adversaries in

attacking managed infrastructure

• Exposure to cloud basics
• Exposure to CVE common Vulnerabilities & Exposures

Maintain an understanding of current and emerging threats, vulnerabilities and trends

• Knowledge of information security management and policies
• Timely escalating the problem.

What you will need to have:

Technical Skills:

• Hands on experience with SIEM tools for logs monitoring and analysis.
• Hands on experience on threat analysis and operations.
• Should have Fair knowledge of Web servers, Database, Application Servers, Networking

components(firewall), Windows, UNIX(multiple flavors)

• Knowledge of query language.
• Knowledge of scripting
