Job Description

As a Territory / Area Sales Manager Home Automation at GM Modular, you will be at the forefront of driving sales for our cutting-edge home automation products across residential and commercial projects. By leveraging your strong network with architects, consultants, interior designers, and key industry stakeholders, you will identify customer needs, develop tailored technical and commercial proposals, and close projects with precision. Your ability to map projects, coordinate technical teams, and execute influencer engagement programs will be instrumental in ensuring successful outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive sales of home automation products in residential and commercial projects through collaboration with influencers like architects, consultants, and interior designers.
  • Build and maintain a robust network of industry stakeholders, including builders, electrical consultants, and project management consultants.
  • Understand customer requirements and create tailored technical and commercial proposals to meet their needs.
  • Conduct market mapping to identify opportunities, analyze trends, and stay updated on emerging technologies and solutions.
  • Develop sales forecasts based on market potential, area insights, and channel partner performance.
  • Lead project mapping and order closure by engaging with customers and coordinating with internal and external technical teams for seamless project execution.
  • Manage and maintain a database of architects and interior designers, ensuring effective execution of influencer engagement programs.
  • Deliver impactful presentations to architects, consultants, developers, purchase teams, and government agencies to generate interest and secure business.
  • Constantly expand and refine the sales funnel by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze the market landscape to anticipate challenges and adapt strategies for growth.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in sales, especially in home automation or related industries.
  • Strong relationships with builders, architects, consultants, and interior designers.
  • Exceptional skills in customer engagement, proposal development, and project management.
  • Ability to analyze market data and identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a focus on influencing decision-makers.
