Job Description
Were looking for an expert Python API Developer to join us as a full-time contractor. In this role, youll play a key part in building, optimizing, and deploying APIs that integrate with leading business and cybersecurity SaaS applications. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure APIs to integrate various business and cybersecurity SaaS applications.
- Work closely with Product, Cybersecurity, and Engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver efficient API solutions.
- Ensure all API integrations are highly performant, reliable, and secure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API integrations swiftly and effectively.
- Document integration workflows, API specifications, and code to ensure clarity and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Python, with a strong portfolio of API development projects.
- 3+ years of experience in API development, particularly in SaaS integrations.
- Deep knowledge of RESTful and SOAP APIs; experience with GraphQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with popular SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, Okta, Microsoft 365, AWS).
- Proficiency in secure API protocols and standards (OAuth, SAML, JWT) with an emphasis on cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication skills to clearly present technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders
