Public Relations Officer

The Public Relations Officer is responsible for managing the public image of the organization by developing and implementing effective PR strategies, managing media relations, and overseeing communication efforts. The PR Officer will maintain a positive company image, handle external communication, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media, the public, and government entities.

• Strategic Communications:
• Assist in developing PR strategies to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and awareness.
• Prepare speeches, presentations, and other communication materials for management or executives.
• Monitor and evaluate media coverage and public perception of the organization.
• Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels, both internal and external.
• Crisis Management:
• Support the PR Manager in managing communication during crises or negative publicity.
• Prepare crisis communication strategies and assist in handling sensitive media relations issues.
• Act quickly and efficiently to manage damage control in challenging situations.
• Liaise with vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of events.
• Internal Communication:
• Work closely with the internal communications team to ensure employees are kept informed about the companys activities and policies.
• Develop internal newsletters, announcements, and communications to ensure a consistent message throughout the organization.
• Reporting and Analytics:
• Track and measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns and media coverage.
• Provide regular reports to management on the companys media presence, reputation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Assess the success of PR activities and propose improvements to strategies.
