Supporting the provision of quality patient care and Retail Service within Gartnavel Campus
The Facilities Directorate deliver a variety of services (e g patient and retail catering, domestic cleaning, portering, transport) which supports and contributes to the provision of quality patient care
Knowledge HNC or equivalent experience including 3yrs experience of working in a Supervisory role
Knowledge of all aspects of Facilities Services with particular focus on Catering services
Knowledge of Health Safety (training provided e g Working Safely)
Knowledge of COSHH (training provided)
Knowledge of Lifting and Handling (training provided)
Knowledge of Infection Control practices (training provided)
Knowledge of Food Safety Regulations
Knowledge of appropriate Quality Standards
Knowledge of Continuous improvement
Knowledge and awareness of HR policies and procedures
Training
Training in the use of all machinery used (training provided)
Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate (training provided)
Supervisory Skills Training
Ability to perform all tasks and duties throughout Facilities department
Experience Experience of Facilities services provision with direct experience in Catering Services
Working knowledge of Health and Safety and Infection Control
Good communication skills
Ability to be flexible adaptable
