POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various billing and invoicing processes, communicating with clients regarding billing issues, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the organization and requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process incoming mail concerning billing and invoicing
• Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questions
• Post daily deposits
• Engage management over any AR problems you encounter
• Initiate collections on past-due accounts
• Maintain accounting ledgers as required
• Create and update a log sheet for quality control
• Handle all special billing situations, including group reservations and conventions
• Prepare and fact-check invoices before sending them to customers
• Maintain and update general ledger and sales journal
• Obtain approval to satisfy vendor statements
• Prepare, fulfill and distribute checks

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

Reports directly to:Senior Manager - Finance

PREREQUISITES

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with special billing situations, such as group reservations and conventions.
• Familiarity with quality control processes in accounting

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in accounting software Tally Prime and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to engage with management to resolve issues.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in dealing with confidential information.

KNOWLEDGE:

Accounting Principles, Financial Regulations, Billing and Invoicing Procedures, Accounts Receivable Management, Accounting Software, Vendor Relationship Management

SKILLS:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
