Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description Job Purpose The New York Stock Exchange, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) presents an opportunity for a full-time Senior QA Automation to join a team responsible for testing and automating full stack regulatory applications. The automation engineer will have experience in all phases of software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering, to design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and supporting in production. The candidate will be part of a highly visible team responsible for testing and automating multiple regulatory applications at NYSE. The ideal candidate should have experience in QA automation and knowledge of working in an onsite-offshore model. This position requires technical proficiency/problem solving as well as an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills. Strong written and oral communication is required as the applicant will frequently be interacting with different teams across NYSE to achieve business goals. Responsibilities Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and programs for testing. Proficient in testing/automation of web applications. Collaborate with cross functional teams involved in product delivery Must be self-motivated, flexible, and have strong problem-solving skills. Review and triage test failures and verify fixes Work with team to analyze code coverage using industry standard tools Enhance and extend test automation libraries and frameworks Build testing tools, mock services Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment Participate in on-call rotations, driving bug isolation and helping restore the service Work with minimum of technical supervision Stay current with the latest engineering technologies and best practices May require overtime or off-peak hours to meet commitments Knowledge and Experience BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent domain 5+ years experience working as a Test Automation Engineer 5+ years uninterrupted experience developing automation code using contemporary web application automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress. 5+ years supporting cross browsers testing. 3+ year of experience testing with application using AngularJS & React, knowledge of Protractor, SOAP, REST web services testing. Ability to analyze requirements, develop a test plan/strategy, create and execute test cases, track defects and report results Familiar with CI/CD process, configure Jenkins Jobs. Demonstrated knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and manual testing Ability to effectively communicate relevant project information with coworkers, peers, and management through written and verbal communication. Must be self-motivated, flexible, and have strong problem-solving skills. Plus: Experience with AWS Exposure to Security, API, Performance testing Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
