Senior Salesforce Developer

This role will be part of a team of Salesforce developers responsible for building and maintaining on the Salesforce platform to support various teams throughout the organization. This position requires technical proficiency as well as an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support items within the Salesforce platform and various other corporate systems/tools using recommended best practices. Collaborate with other internal groups to translate business and functional requirements into technical implementation for the automation of existing processes and the development of new applications. Ability to suggest alternative technical solutions to business problems. Communicate with internal customers in non-technical terms, understand business requirements, and propose solutions Manage projects from specification gathering, to development, to QA, user acceptance testing, and deployment to production Participate in meetings and organize work and/or training sessions around new software being introduced into the ICE technology environment Document changes and author documentation on software development standards and practices Enhances team and coworkers through knowledge sharing and implementing best practices in day to day activities Takes initiative to continually learn and enhance technical knowledge and skills. Very strong personal initiative, consistently responsible for many critical deliverables Ability to prioritize work efficiently without direct guidance from management. Knowledge and Experience Bachelor Degree (CS or IT preferred). 7+ year s development experience on the Salesforce platform. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling and security. Experience in developing LWC, APEX and Aura Components Strong Experience with Lightning Web/Aura/Apex/VisualForce Experience with FinancialForce/Certinia is a big plus Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery Experience with Web Services / Web APIs: SOAP, REST, XML, JSON Solid understanding on the Integrations Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple projects Salesforce.com certifications including (but not limited to) Admin and Platform Developer 1 and 2 certifications. Start date of the first certification should be minimum 5 years from current day Solid understanding and experience with various SDLC methodologies Solid technical background, especially around web/software development, relational databases and object-oriented concepts. Strong analytical/problem solving skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models and technologies; ability to identify issues/opportunities and recommend solutions, ideas and more efficient approaches. Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Salesforce.com Architect or Developer certification. Force.com development experience, with a strong focus on Salesforce Lightning Experience with web application development, including solid experience with Java, as well as HTML, JavaScript, JQuery and CSS Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of 1 day per week.
