Job Description Job Purpose Documents are at the center of the US residential mortgage process. This is an opportunity to build a career around document automation focused on: End user efficiency by multiple different user personas Facilitating automation Electronic signing and vaulting of critical documents We build and support the electronic folder for documents collected and generated throughout the loan lifecycle including documents used to disclose loan terms, borrower collected documents that aid in credit decisioning, and agreements commit the borrower to the loan. These documents aid in a lenders ability to help borrowers realize the dream of home ownership. Responsibilities Work under the direction of a product manager to clearly communicate customer need and break down requirements to author user stories with complete acceptance criteria for development and QA teams to execute As new solutions are developed, work with product and engineering teams to author processes to define repeatable use of components Work with implementation team and product manager on go to market documentation for external consumption and integration Work with product manager to define priorities for scrum team work to accomplish committed deliverables Work within one or more scrum teams, providing direction to teams working on implementation and testing of assigned features Work with implementation teams to estimate efforts associated with new work Experience with agile development methodologies and product management practices Knowledge and Experience 5+ years of experience Undergraduate degree required - Computer science preferred, but can be combination of some CS knowledge with business Proven track record for taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail including precise and effective verbal and written communications. Good interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills Mortgage industry experience (preferred) or financial services industry experience Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and technologies (preferred) Experience with document automation: imaging, recognition, classification, editing, and electronic signing (preferred) Experience with agile development methodologies and product management practices (preferred) Career Pathing Individual Contributor - Business analyst can grow into more senior roles, up to Principal Business Analyst. This allows the individual to focus on direct contribution to the products they support and build without requiring people management responsibilities. Product Management - Business analyst can also grow into a product manager role, which allows for additional opportunities in both people and product management.
