Senior Manager - Go To Market Strategy
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- The GTM Head for watch category will be responsible for the management of product launch and lifecycle to meet company objectives.
- The candidate is expected to analyze market evolution, identify new opportunities and execute programs to drive category growth, continually improve execution of new initiatives, and analyze performance data to identify optimization opportunities.
- Develop and execute GTM strategies for different watch brands and their sub-categories as per company's business objectives through clear definition of consumer segmentation, pricing, channel strategy and positioning .
- Successful end-to-end execution of 3-5 GTM strategies in a year.
- Revenue growth alignment with the brands in focus driving the growth.
- Channel-wise alignment of growth as per channel-mix created for different brands and specific portfolios.
- Higher contribution of value-driven business In EBOs and other premium consumer-led channels
- Betterment of ASPs in strategic channels targeted at premium consumers in the right geographies.
- Premiumization of G-shock metal watches to drive higher ASP.
- Align global product roadmap with local consumer needs as per the business requirements of the firm.
- Drive insights-based decision-making for portfolio expansion
- Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns to create consumer pull in the targeted pockets.
Portfolio optimization:
- Positive brand perception (in collaboration with brand team)
- Identify growth opportunities in Tier-2/3 markets and explore new avenues of business by regularly analysing and being up-to-date with changing market dynamics as per macro-economic factors.
- Improved business contribution from tier-2/3 cities and high visibility of new initiatives taken ion the direction.
- Align marketing spends with GTM priorities with efficiency.
- Higher attribution of sales of GTM campaigns with high efficiency.
- Converting micro-tends into macro-trends- impact amplification of models performing well in one channel and ensuring the same trend gets duplicated in other channels through proper placement plan and informing sharing with sales and marketing
- Assisting PSI teams with such trends for better forecast of such products.
- Conversion of new models into Best SKUs apart from AD models.
Qualification & Experience:
Must have:
- 4 to 5 years of experience of working in sales/sales development/GTM Strategy in a retail, FMCG/FMCD or Automobiles industry
- MBA from a Tier-1 college
Hands on experience in:
- Competition benchmarking and market intelligence
- Data analytics
- High proficiency in MS Office
